We came to understand that certain activities and pursuits required an African registered/based Foundation to compliment AHAF-USA, which is a USA foundation. In 2012, we took the steps to act on this need and created the African Health & Agricultural Foundation, registering it in Nigeria. AHAF-USA and AHAF (Nigeria) are sister organizations.
The aCar project, largely funded by the Bavarian Research Foundation and the Technical University of Munich, prefered working with an Africa based NGO. A Nigerian registered NGO, The African Health and Agricultural Foundation - Nigeria, which had been formed as a sister organization to AHAF-USA, then became the team member. Once our TUM - AHAF connection was cemented, aCar progress ramped up and has now trasformed into a vehicle assembly strategy .
